A Quick OOC Note!
Just a quick little OOC note. First of all, don’t fret if your questions haven’t been answered yet. Please do not intentionally try to break the fourth wall with your questions. Most likely, John won’t answer them. They don’t know they’re on a tv show. If it is an OOC question, just please do not be on anon, and I will answer privately or publicly as I see fit. OR feel free to ask OOC questions, anon or not, over at our Sherlock Family OOC Tumblr!
Secondly, for the most part, we try to follow the timeline of the current series two of Sherlock. We’ve added our own bits, of course, but basically know that whatever’s happened in the show has happened to our characters.
Quick summary of the big events so far: We here at the Sherlock family are recovering from the Reichenbach Fall. Jim is alive and well, and along with his Sebastian Moran, is causing trouble in London. Sherlock has also officially returned, and is living in 221B Baker Street again. John is still making him grovel, but they are slowly slipping back into their routine. Yes, their relationship goes a bit deeper than ‘just friends,’ although you won’t hear them make a big deal about it, or anything, as it’s just not who they are.
Recently, Irene Adler was kidnapped and held captive by Moriarty. Moran, however, having a soft spot for her, had been helping to take care of her and see that she remained unharmed. While there, she secretly made some recordings of Jim that could be incriminating evidence to be held against him. John, with the help of Moran, saved her, and brought her back to the flat, where she is now recovering. Sherlock, however, seems to be missing.
Oh, and there’s also a group of BakerStreet Irregulars running about, led by Wiggins - basically an army of children working for Sherlock. Greg and Molly have been dating for a while, as have been Kate, Irene’s ‘maid,’ and Harry Watson, John’s sister.
Sherlock recently returned from a failed confrontation with Jim Moriarty. He’d lured Sherlock into an abandoned warehouse, planning to blow them both up. Sebastian Moran stepped in and saved the day, however, tranquilizing Jim and toting him off to some remote, tropical island. They are currently the proud parents of two tiger cubs.
John is still somewhat upset at Sherlock for lying to him, and their current relationship is rocky at best. However, they are planning to go on holiday soon, back to Dartmoor, where they’ve been informed by Gary and Billy that a mysterious illness has taken over. Sherlock, of course, wants to investigate.
After solving the mystery illness, and fighting a hospital on fire to cover it up, Sherlock, John, and Detective Inspector Lestrade have all returned to London!
